Are you looking for a Christmas gift that brings joy and does some good? Do you want to prepare a fun and unconventional team-building activity for your employees? Are you planning to do something for your health in the new year—with your family? Or for your city or the planet? We have a great solution for all of these situations.
Give the gift of a month of active commuting to and from work, improved physical and mental fitness, reduced emissions, and a positive lifestyle change. Over its 15 years of existence, the May Bike to Work Challenge has transformed the travel habits of hundreds of thousands of people and popularized human-powered transport across Czechia. You—and your loved ones or your organization—definitely shouldn’t miss its upcoming 16th edition.
You can purchase a voucher for participation in the May Challenge in our e-shop, either in a classic printed version or as a digital voucher. You can choose between a version with a participant package (T-shirt or socks) for CZK 550 per voucher, or an even more sustainable option without the package for CZK 370 per voucher. Both options secure participation in the May Challenge at a discounted, early-bird price. Vouchers will be on sale until the end of January 2026, and registration using them will be possible at any time from February to May 2026.
Standard registration opens on February 1, 2026, and as every year, participant packages will be distributed in several waves. However, there is a change compared to previous years in terms of pricing: this year, the price remains the same throughout the entire registration period—CZK 579 with a package (T-shirt or socks) and CZK 399 without a package. The choice is yours. If your wardrobe is already full, your budget is limited, or you want to participate in an even more sustainable way, you can opt for the “basic” option. If, like us, you’re looking forward to the annual T-shirt, choose the “full package” option. And ideally, do so as soon as possible. Why?

In May we will be traveling mostly on our own supply
For sustainability reasons, a limited number of participant packages will be available for the 2026 May Challenge. This is exactly why early registration is strongly recommended if you would like to receive one. Over time, the choice of T-shirt and sock types and sizes will also become more limited. For registrations made after May 1, we can no longer guarantee a participant package at all. This is also why we decided to cancel the traditional price waves this year (the earlier you register, the cheaper it is)—so that those who pay the most are not left with the most limited choice of what they ultimately receive.
As for the T-shirt, you can look forward to the new design—we’ll reveal it soon. And just like in previous years, you’ll also be able to choose last year’s T-shirt if, for example, you don’t like this year’s design or your size is no longer available. If, due to exceptionally high interest in the May Challenge (which would of course make us very happy), all socks and all T-shirts sell out completely, we will stop offering the “full” registration option altogether. So you don’t need to worry about paying the full price and ending up empty-handed. And if you’d like to further support the activities of the AutoMat association, which organizes the May Challenge, we also offer the option of a donation-based registration fee in an amount of your choosing.
On May 1, we’ll all set off together—on foot, by bike, scooter, or inline skates—and kick off the 16th edition of the May Bike to Work, Walk or Jog Challenge. We’re already looking forward to it.
