Introducing the 2025 May Challenge T-shirt and other new features
“The visual design symbolizes our journeys to and from work. Sometimes they are more direct, sometimes less so. But the result should always be a good feeling, represented by the interjection mmmm,” says Filip Zatloukal, the designer of this year’s May Challenge T-shirt and socks and long-time graphic designer of the AutoMat association. We really like it, and we believe you will too – and above all, that it will be comfortable to wear. Unlike in previous years, our new T-shirt is unisex and will therefore be available in eight sizes, from XXS to 3XL. Another new feature is a single, fixed participation fee throughout the entire registration period, as well as the option to have the fee reimbursed by your health insurance company.
This year, having a sufficiently wide range of T-shirt sizes is the real motivation to register early. Price waves are being replaced by distribution waves, and because the number of T-shirts will be limited this year for environmental reasons, the earlier you register, the wider the selection of sizes you’ll have available. Otherwise, the participation fee remains the same throughout the entire registration period (February to May) and is offered in two options:
579 CZK with a participant package (you can choose between a T-shirt or socks), or 399 CZK for the most sustainable option – without a package.
Who cares about your health
For almost 80% of participants, the entry fee for the May Challenge is covered by their employers – and that’s great news. It shows they care not only about the health and well-being of their people, but also about the environment. This year, however, self-employed people, students and retirees can also benefit. Health insurance companies now offer reimbursement of the participation fee as well – specifically VZP, OZP and ČPZP. They care about your health too, and we’re very pleased that VZP has also become a partner of the May Challenge this year. Free for our supporters as well
As every year, people who support us as members of the AutoMat Friends Club will be able to take part in the May Challenge free of charge. Everyone who supports us with a monthly donation of more than CZK 200 will receive a unique registration code for participation without a participant package. Donors contributing CZK 400 or more per month will receive a code for participation with a package.
