It is the longest, 31-day challenge from the Bike to Work series. We recommend starting the following steps as soon as possible, preferably 2 months in advance.
1. Find among your colleagues the mover of the entire challenges. It should be a person who has sportsmanship and team spirit and can motivate others to action. Having a good corporate coordinator is essential.
2. Decide whether you will pay entry fees for your colleagues. If so, specify under what conditions.
3. Register your company for free in the online portal. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the Corporate Coordinator section.
4. All participants will then register themselves in the portal under their unique name and password.
5. Prepare an internal campaign. You can use our pre-prepared marketing materials.
6. Announce the Bike to Work challenge to your colleagues, either by email (pre-prepared email templates can help you) or through a larger campaign, personal meetings, etc. You can announce a competition between branches or perhaps business partners.
7. Ride and test your strength with other participants from all over the Czech Republic. Everyone records their journeys themselves, either through the portal or in the application via GPS.
8. Motivate and share. We have prepared some inspiring advice and tips for you based on the experience of companies where the challenge continues successfully and for a long time.
It is a two-week challenge that we organize as part of the European Mobility Week. Individuals participate in the challenge, but companies can also involve their employees by paying a contribution of 150 CZK or 400 CZK for them, depending on how much they want to contribute to the Do práce na kole project and the AutoMat association. Companies can participate in the September challenge in the same way (see procedure below) as in the May challenge. The difference is that the September Challenge lasts two weeks, participants apply individually (ie not in teams) and the September Challenge does not feature starting package.
This year it took place from 15 to 21 2024. It is open to individuals and free of charge.
