Bike to Work 2018 Results

We are happy to bring you results of all country-wide competitions in 2018. You can find photos from the Prague closing ceremony on our Facebook page.

Winners in categories Regular Team Activity, Individual Performance and some other categories are different in each city. Results in cities are available only in Czech, see “Výsledky” on the city’s page.

Bike-friendly Employer of the Year 2018

1. Decasport s.r.o. (Liberec) with 41 points
2. eMan s.r.o. (Praha) with 38 points
3. Lear Corporation Czech Republic s.r.o. (Brno) with 37 points

Best performing man and woman

Best performing cyclist – man

This year’s rider with the most kilometers in his feet is Jan Kavalír from ČSOB in Prague. During May he rode 5004,6 km to and from work in total.

Best performing cyclist – woman

Martina Urbánková from company MADOS MT based in Rychnov nad Kněžnou rode during May 1868,8 km in total and became the best performing woman in this year of Bike to Work.

Best performing runner – man

With 701,2 km ran during May to and from work, the best performing runner of the year 2018 was Tomáš Voňka from BSSHOP in Hradec Králové.

Best performing runner – woman

Woman with the most kilometers ran was Renáta Pícová from Prague City Hall with 306 km done in May.

The RunCzech Run to Work

Conditions of this category (at least 66 % of journeys done on foot or running) were met by 1620 competitors. From this pool were drawn following winners:

1. Martina Dvořáková from Třebíč, 78,3 % regularity
2. Leoš Janiš from Praha, 76,2 % regularity
3. Radek Štencl from Brno, 75 % regularity

The Creative Competition with CK Kudrna

After thorough examination and discussion we chose following winners of the Creative Competition:

Jitka Kopuletá from Břeclav with creative folklore video

Andrea Fula from Praha with video, which works unconventionaly with current pop-songs

Petr Havel from Praha for creative team photo

We send honorable mentions along with small gifts to Jana Štěrbová and for courage in daily traffic and also to Zuzana Fuksová.
